Chris Garland entered the real estate business in 1987 and has a degree in Real Estate and City Planning from the University of Memphis. Since 1998 Chris has been dedicated to Downtown Memphis commercial and residential real estate sales; as well as involvement in retail leasing and tenant representation.
Having a background in commercial real estate sales and leasing from 1987 to 1998 allows Chris the ability to participate in the sales of historic buildings and vacant land to downtown developers. In addition to commercial sales and leasing, Chris specializes in the sales of any Downtown Memphis homes and condos and has been focused on residential real estate sales as well as commercial real estate in Downtown Memphis, Midtown and East Memphis since 1998. Chris lives works and plays in Downtown Memphis.
Tracie Gaia has been in the real estate business since 1999 with her first involvement as a co-owner in a Midtown Memphis real estate firm then moving on to strictly Residential Sales.
In 2002, Tracie had the pleasure of working closely with developers and architects in the construction and sales of two residential condominium and townhome developments and after that Tracie realized that Downtown Memphis was home for herself and her career. Tracie has a background in interior design and experience in renovating homes in the midtown area which meshes perfectly with her current specialty in selling residential homes and condos in the Downtown Memphis area for individuals as well as developers.
In January of 2004, Tracie Gaia and Chris Garland joined forces. This combined Chris’ knowledge and history of the buildings in Downtown Memphis as well as his background in commercial and residential real estate sales with Tracie’s experience in residential development, sales and interior design and created a perfect team. Tracie and Chris together provide excellent service and expertise to developers and consumers looking to live or develop in the Downtown Memphis area. As a team they work together with developers on locating that perfect site for new growth and with Consumers on locating that perfect place to call home.
